I came across a guy selling about 12 rod and reel combos for cheap. Some shimano reels, BPS reels, Bucoo rods, skeet Reese rods a couple castaways. I was interested in purchasing but seems like it might be stolen, figured I would give it the due diligence and at least ask on here.

There was a post a couple of weeks ago about someone getting all there rods taken. It was a dad that got all his rods taken and his boy was schedule for a HS tournament coming up. It was stolen out of a storage shed I think.

I sent him a PM and told him to contact you, might be his son's reels that were stolen. If you see the guy again might try and see where he lives or at least get a contact number without looking suspicious. I'd love to see this kid get his stuff back.

This guy lives in the Baytown area, sounds like we've found the thief.

I thought the guy that lost the rod n reels actually lost the items from his boat storage at the lake,,,, Sam Rayburn. Not saying the thief couldn't have brought the stuff back to Humble, but I don't believe the items were stolen from Baytown.

They were stolen from a storage facility at Sam Rayburn. The man whose rod/reels were stolen lives in Baytown. The stolen rod/reels were seen in the Humble/Atascoita area which is near Baytown. It is an assumption that they are the same rod/reels stolen from Sam Rayburn but only an assumption. Could just be a coincidence but worth looking into especially if the brands were the same. It's also suspicious that someone would pick that particular storage space to break into and not know what was in there. Dick Tracy, you out there ?
