A while back the GPS puck to my console unit (Humminbird 898SI) stopped working. I hooked the unit up to another puck and it picked it up so I know it is the puck. Has anyone had experience sending one back to Humminbird for repairs? TackleWarehouse has them listed at $199 and I'm looking for a more inexpensive option.

The AS GRP that replaced the discontinued AS GR-50 is $150 MSRP and is less than $120 at some dealers.

You must have looked at the AS GPS HS that has the heading sensor.
That is $200 MSRP.
