I've had pretty good luck at possum kingdom catching striper most days by just trolling with striper jigs first thing in the morning. Question is.... what kind of results can I expect using same method in evening from dusk till dark? I am not real experienced with live bait fishing. The few times I've looked for shad, I can't find em. I apologize if this has been covered already.

Trolling is not my preferred way of fishing, so I can't really comment on that. Neither is live bait fishing.
I can say the striper bite can be great in the afternoon & evenings. Any reason you are targeting only dusk till dark? Have you tried slabs or jigs while targeting specific areas?

Stripers come up in the evening pretty much in the same spots they do in the morning.
Shad have been tough to get at PK this year. We had huge numbers of them last fall but the large numbers of small stripers I think ate them all during the winter. If you have a bait tank and can get them they work like magic. Small perch will work but not as good as shad.
Best thing about fishing late is it's cooler. Once it gets pretty dark you should try a rattling crankbait like a bomber fat free shad if you want to troll. I've caught quite a few stripers on that in the past.
John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

I actually prefer fishing in the morning. But, sometimes I can only get to the lake in the evenings. I generally just shy away from evening fishing because I've been sure of productivity in evening. It's a 1 hour drive to the lake and fuel can eat you up.
Thanks for the replies. I will definitely give those things a try. I'm always looking to put more arrows in my quiver. If I know I can catch in evening, I can sure get more time on the water.
