Keith's pics of the leader board are better than mine so I'll put the tournament report on this thread.

The wind did make things difficult for everyone but it wasn't as bad as predicted. Wind got up with white caps about 9am but backed off a bit by 10:30. Most teams caught their fish early and got chased to calmer waters by 9:30. The biggest problem may have been the gates being opened at RC about Wed. I know there's only about 1000 cfs going out, but for whatever reason, any time the gates open at RC the crappie bite really falls off. Those that pre-fished last weekend said fishing was much better then. Most of the better fish came off timber in 15-22 FOW.

There were 14 teams in DIV I and 16 in DIV II.

Miles and Hunter Mclain fished their first CAT Tournament and had a very respectable showing with 4th place in DIV II. They also had two big fish die which would have improved their standing.

Everyone came in safe and I don't think any equipment got damaged.

Next tournament is Fork, July 15th. Ought to be a good one.

Thanks again to all the CAT Officers that put in the work to run these tourneys off smoothly. It was another good one, and another win for us. banana

Bittersweet day!! Ordered some fish care stuff this morning from tackle warehouse. On the flip side I felt good I was able to find good fish on a lake I've only been on a few times and hang in there with some great timber fisherman cause I don't consider myself a timber guy at all and Clay hates it more than I do!! Congrats to the winners!! Chambers was a fun lake. Fun fishing it would be easy to catch 100 a day there IMO. Did it first 2 times on the water but only had 8-9 pounds. Never found the 11 pounds folks were catching but felt good about our chances. Clay whooped me for the first hour. I was a little slow! I'm blaming it on the fajitas!! roflmao cheers
