Thinking of redoing the carpet on my Basscat this winter. Looking at alternatives. Has anyone seen this on a bass boat?

Oliver Ngy was running it on his ranger. Not sure if he still is or not. Amazing stuff. I just ordered a bunch to put on my center console.

Did he just have it on the floor or casting decks too?

The problem with a boat that has carpet is if you take the carpet out the lids will have big gaps.

I am having it installed in a Cobalt boat next week, really nice stuff, not sure how it would work in a bass boat because of what other post mentioned about the lids.

I wonder how the Seadeck and others compare to carpet as far as sound dampening?

I sent Oliver a FB message to get his input. He said he loves the product and will never have carpet again. I asked about the gaps around the lockers and he said his boat is a "saltwater Ranger" so it's configured differently. The gaps might be a challenge for regular bass boats.

I knew a guy who had it on a cobalt ski boat and he said it stains easily but he like everything spotless.

I believe they fill in the gaps. Have heard nothing but good things about it

I have a Ranger Intracoastal with Seadek flooring. I love it!
