Bluegill/Sunfish on the Fly

If you have every wanted to take up fly fishing for bluegill/Sunfish we here at Backwater Adventures would like to help you do that.

We can help you get started; you don�t half to have any equipment we will supply the fly rod and flies to teach you how to cast and work the flies.

We are going to offer 2 hours lessons for only $75.00 per fisherman.
Locations for the lessons will take place on one of these lakes, Pines, Lake Gilmer & Big Cypress River.

This pass week we were on Big Cypress and had some fun with or 1wt TFO fly rods, put some Bluegii in the boat, Pines have also been giving up some hand size bream.

Just learning to fly fish. This is my first year. Been learning from you tube videos and from friends of mine who fly fish. The only regret I have is I wish I have started fly fishing sooner. It is a total blast.



Side Note: Still love my ultra light spinning rigs.

we were out Monday and today from 6:30 to 11:00, water temp.88 to 91, we were using a 1wt fly rod with a white/red leg spider and it was not stop with a lot of small ones and mybe 12 big one. Will be back on Pines two day next week.
