Ran into one of these guys and while trying to relocate his head I stepped on another . Assuming they were mates ? Anyways I'm very confident these were copper heads but I had a argument with a guy about it . Diamond/triangle shaped heads ,slit eyes , orange/brown pattern ,lime green tail ... Anyone care to verify this snake Id for me or correct me thx

All juvenile copperheads have a green tip on their tail. That snake in the pic is a bonafide copperhead.

There is an old saying about copperheads. "Where there is one there is always two."
One was probably a male and the other a female.

CopperHead !! And when they are small they almost look like a night crawler when you are gathering bait.

Most people do not see the copperhead just to the right of the light. It is shining on one copperhead but a bigger one is just to the right in the darkness. Good luck getting rid of them. thumb
Mods will probably move this from the cat fishing section to another section soon.
