As you can see, the tips have been dinged up and flattened some. I'm chasing a couple of MPH on the top end that I seem to have lost.

It doesn't take much, I would take it to a professional.

The nicks maybe just the surface problem,..could be the blades a bent slightly too.

Takes just a few minutes for a pro shop to check the blades and balance..

You can take a "good" prop and run over a couple sand bars and loose 1-4mph. If you can visually see something wrong, it needs to go to the shop.

If it's on a bass cat Ronnie Gilbert is considered the best.

You won't notice the difference between a perfect stock prop and the one you have now. As it warms up the hp goes down.

If you want it tuned, take and make notes on how it runs in different conditions, like full tournament load on a hot day. RPMs, speed and how does it take off.
Also what does it do with a lighter load and during the spring. Take that to Steve's old place ( I think he's busy building jackplates ) and they can tune if so it runs better than new. Also if its not the proper propeller they can steer you to the right one.

If the motor is mounted as low as it looks in the picture its costing you more speed then the ding in the prop.

Steves prop shop is the best. You probably are losing 50% to prop and 50% to water temp
