I am a life time fisherman, but new to kayaks. I always had a boat. Last weekend was my first time in a kayak. Now I own 4. One for each person in the family. Looking forward to learning from every one and possibly meeting some on the water.

You are in the Kayak forum . . . not sure what Smurfs is pointing to.

One other really good source would be Facebook and join the DFW Kayakers group.

Between these two forums, you can find out what people are up to, what they are fising with, where, and what their plans are.
