Taking my little brother fishing at the end of the month...definitely gonna try the Blanco River one day, and was hoping to hit up the Guadalupe another day for some bass. Any suggestions on areas that are decent to fish and not totally chocked with tubers? Thanks!

Rebecca Creek area and Boat Ramp Rd. seem to be popular for banking. Nice whires and crappie. Good luck.

Wrong time of the year to be fishing the three major Guadalupe River Lakes. Lots of wake boats, ski boats, and jet ski's. Dunlap,Mcqueeney, and Placid hold some nice bass. During this time of the year fish at day break and make sure you are off the water by 10am. That is usually when the circus starts. Best time to fish the Guadalupe is during the fall, winter, and spring months. thumb
