Taking a short trip to Toledo Bend will be staying near Many La. Anyone care to share on where take the boat to find the fish in that mid lake area?

I was at Pendleton on the texas side weekend before last....did awful...but talked to some guys who did well on the LA side on weightless flukes and wacky senkos around buck brush and flooded trees.

The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

I picked up a couple last weekend around Palo Gaucho (on TX side) just messing around the banks with a red shad u-tail worm Texas rigged. Nothing of any real size, but enough action to keep me interested. All bites were in the shade. I imagine the big ones are there, but probably out deep.
