Took my kiddos out for a few hours on LOP this weekend while doing some camping. Nothing too serious we mainly rode around and fished a little. Went into a cove and saw this on my graph, is that brush and fish? I should know this but not sure I've seen a stretch of water have this much "stuff" going on. Anyway, we drifted through there and caught a few. There was a boat there really catching them and I didn't want to hang around and risk being a potlicker! What do you think?

Obviously fish. Brush would look like it was connected to the bottom.

Thanks Ernest, that's what I was afraid of...I should have caught a lot more of those fish hanging out there. The whole cove was like that in 14-16' FOW for several hundred yards. Maybe if I had slowed down and didn't mind rubbing elbows I would have done better. But my kiddos caught a few and they thought it was great! I see that pic and see a freezer full still in the lake!

Not me in a Skeeter. I have this Mako 18LTS center console. Not too many of those up here but if you ever see me feel free to say hi. We should have some TTF flags to fly to know who we can approach!

Looks like they're feeding on baitfish. Nice shot. I probably would have asked the other fisherman if he minded having company. I sure don't mind when someone ask me. All he can do is say no.

I do sometimes forget that the margin for elbow room in crappie fishing is a little less than bass fishing. I don't like to be within 100 yds of someone usually but I guess in a stretch of narrow cove like this then it's pretty well accepted that you might have neighbors.

Never mind... I'm in Longview, there's a guy with the exact same boat you've got that lives around the corner...
