How far, if at all has anyone gone up Lake Fork Creek. I kayak fish and was just wondering if anyone has ever gone up there in a small boat or kayak or anything for that matter. I asked in the kayak section and never got a response. Was wondering what I would expect as far as the depth, water clarity, and maybe a few less pressured bass hiding up in there. I was thinking about paddling up that creek west of the 19 bridge as far as I could get one day and checking it out but if someone could tell me if it is a waste of time or not I could scratch that off the list of spots to explore. Thanks!

Been as far as you can possibly go by boat. Unless your catfishing, you would be better off elsewhere.

It's a pretty cool area if you've never been up there. In a kayak you can go really far up the creek. There is actually a whole mother part of the lake the locals call the loop hole up there. Bass fishing is slim at best but catfishing and the white bass fishing is off the chains up the creek. Duck hunters have cut and wallowed there way making the acccess very accessible to boats. Once you get past the loop hole the creek gets small but with a kayak you could go way up there. I took my ProDrive boat 4.7 miles up the creek. If you've never been it's a cool place to go. Good bow fishing too.

Gone until it got too shallow for a bass boat... It looks so fishy (almost like pines), but I guess everyone except me know that bass fishing was not worth the trip.

Sure glad I asked on here. thanks to all for the responses. I have some really cool creeks around Lavon and Ray Hubbard that have some really excellent bass fishing. Every creek is different though. one may be really good and another be absent of life almost. Just thought I would ask before I made the effort to paddle up there and find out it didn't have any monsters hiding in there.
