Anyone know of ideal spots to fish along the south jetties on the channel side?

I typically go towards the end at the sunken engine marker. We've caught lots of large bull reds there but it's a long wet trek.

There's a shelf/upwelling just east of the big buoy. it's where a lot of the dolphin congregate.
4oz of weight. pretty deep & tons of current.

jetties in general have to be poked and prodded for years to find things like sunken shoulders or fallen rocks off either side. The ends are always good for reds because there is a current flowing in and eddies as well. I fish all up and down the rocks on any jetty. Trout will move all along them and so will reds, especially slot reds but you have to fish really close to the rocks for them and that can be a pain due to lost tackle.
