Fished today on Athens....yes, I saw dead grass....lots of it.
Busted some small fish early on topwater and a donkey rigged pair of Flukes.
Later tricked a few on a c-rigged brush hog on points.
Boated 8.....on 11 bites.
Still, better than not fishing.

We all stumble and make mistakes. When you stumble, do you want your brother to help knock you down or to help set you back on your feet?

Hope it doesn't happen to Athens, but I remember way back in the day of Conroe and the carp. Fishing was incredible for a while, then tapered to nothing.
