I wonder how many boat and trailer loads of them it would take to equal what LCRA and ACOE release every time they release water down stream.

Well Bob, it is well known that once the zebra mussels are in a lake, that all downstream water bodies will be infected. And the authorities concede that fact.

Snowflakes and entitled brats will be the doom of America!

The fact is as far as The Canyon contamination, there is no telling how long the lake has been infected before they were discovered, and during all that time many boats have been in and out of that water, and many boats have carried the larva and mussels to other lakes in the area, so those other lakes are already infected, and only luck would be involved if they are not.
I'm sure they are/will be trying to curb the spread, but I'd bet it's too little, too late.
That would be all the lakes below Canyon all the way to the coast, including Travis, Buchanan, Texana, Coleto Creek, Bastrop, Fayette, Calaveras, Braunig, Medina, Choke, Lake Corpus Christi, Amistad, Falcon, all lakes within close driving distance to Canyon.
I guess we shall see! rolleyes

Just one more cast!

"...Zebra mussels can....damage boats and motors left in infested waters."

"Well great..." said the boat owner who just signed his annual slip lease at Cranes Mill Marina.....
