Heading to ray hubbard this weekend, any tips would be greatly appreciated! Areas of the lake, baits, etc. for this time of year.
Thanks

If you are fishing for catfish cut or whole fresh shad on the mid lake levy's or where the sandies & hybrids have been feeding is always good. Best catfish bite for me is around 10:00 am. If I have plenty of bait I chum. I also drop soured milo sometimes.

This time of year I catch blues at the far north end of the lake near where it's fed from lavon. 5 fow or so.

But that's assuming you're in a boat. If you are and have an open seat, I would be happy to show you exactly where and how I catch em. Shoot me a pm.

I don't fish RH often but know those who do. Channels should be good on the south facing rocks along I30 shallow 3-6 fow. Fresh shad, CJs shad punch bait or worms should work. Just move around till you find them. First choice would be fresh shad, second worms, third punch bait. The only reason punch third is because I get hung up more when moving around.

There are a lot of fish on the rocks right now! I personally fish 66 because there's no one ever there, but 30 or miller road should work as well. Fresh shad on a 4/0 or 5/0 circle hook about 2-3 feet beneath a bobber is what is working for me. If you don't get bit within the first 5-10 mins move to another opening. It took me an hour to find them last time, but when we did, we got into them thick. Make sure you're fishing the wind blown side. PM me if you have any other questions

Glad to know 66 is good, safer in my kayak.
