I have a 25 4 stroke tohatsu and just bought a cmc pt 35 tilt trim to replace my old factory one.Does anyone have any pointers on installing these ? it's going on a war eagle 15/42 boat.

You leave the old trim on and lock it all down. I did one on a small Force motor. Made an aluminum strap to hold the old trim down, going from one side of the transom mount, behind the swivel bracket, and back to the other side transom mount.

Does anyone have any pointers on setting the C M C pt 35 up on the back of the boat?The motor will be setting about 5"back that will make it set a little deeper in the water I would think. So how much should I raise the motor?
