Fishing slowed for me this weekend. Had some good unders lined up, but they didn't want to come out to play. I had a few unders and a slot fish Saturday. Sunday, they just didn't commit to the bite, swiping, but no takes. Fished Shallow-Mid Depths, only one on water incident. I was fishing tire reef and a point when a couple came up and camped right in my casting lane 20 feet from my boat. I just shook my head and kept fishing (trying not to blow my top and yell at them). Neither of us pulled one out of there!

I was able to take advantage of the repair services!!! Thanks to Skeeter for bringing them out. Would've been covered under warranty, but the inconsistency in my TM problem until this weekend would have been multiple trips to repair shop. Lucky for me it hit at the right time. Saturday my PowerPole got stuck down, heard a pop... Turns out I snapped the bolt holing the cylinder in place. Luckily David (aka Happy) with PP had me going in 30 minutes!!!!

No more for me fouz...it was insane...

I had a good time out there. Really didn't have any issues where we fished except the good unders did not want to play. We caught a few slots but really not many compared to years past. Everyone we met were either friendly or stayed to far away to find out. We caught a lot of fish out deep but just could not break that 2 pound mark. My partner found a rubber duck and that was pretty much the highlight.

Not a lot to say about the fishing, slots and small under fish. Great food and time had by all. We did have some excitement on Friday night a trailer caught fire in a campground behind the house we were staying in @ Popes Landing. fortunately no one was staying there, it was a complete loss.

In regards to the dinner Sat evening, this year they had the vehicles parking in the grass and walking up to the food lines through the grass. Did anybody else get chiggers walking across? My gosh, we are covered with bites. Otherwise, the food was great!

I see a lot of uninformed individuals driving flat to damn fast in areas that are not safe, there are huge stumps out there opposite side of the guide lane across from Italy's sock, (between LFM & Big Mustang)Totally rude as heII goobers doing 65+ between us and the trees, I tried to flag them off, but I gave up after 15-20 blow by us 200 yards off the guide lane... What do ya do.... We were on fish too, big waves rolling in, lost a anchor in said trees, good thing the lake is full is all I can say...

Caught several Saturday morning out of 4' and less of water. And got on a small school of 18" slots in 12' of water that bit our c-rigs . And Sunday only fished a hour and loaded the boat after that with what I am thinking is a lower unit going out.
The tournament has got to big for Lake Fork and LFM .

You talking about the porpoise tournament? Saw lots of unskilled boat drivers or lots of boats with a design flaw.

In the boat lane, I was the 3rd boat in a line that was idling to the bridge and some jackwagon almost ran over top of me, he made a hard left and passed all 3 of us on plane only to shut down at or under the bridge, there where several boats fishing the bridge columns that were not happy either.

I just don't understand how someone could be so stupid.

Crappie fishing submerged timber in 30 FOW with a buoy marker out and had a boat idle all the way across the cove to less than 10 yards of me! What the helll was he thinking? I could only shake my head at him.

I'm beat to death. Felt like I was in a flat bottom boat doing sixty in 4 foot rollers. Roughest ride Ive ever experienced. Fish didn't cooperate but still had fun and no poor sportsmanship anywhere.

Both. Skeeter by far is worst riding boat I've been in and the worst to learn how to drive! But I'm sure I will get hated on now. Lol

well after all the bad luck i had the previous 2 days new radiator and Transmission hoping little getaway would change my luck finally made it to the camp around 9 wed nite and on the water at daylight thurs morn and right off the bat topwater produced a 15 7/8" and 15 3/4" after thinking the first one got off felt that 2nd hit and one was on the front hook and one on back hook both solid fat 2.5+lbers so caught a another solid and quickley pulled off the spot and moved out shook a few fish off a c-rig and watched another guy about hr or so later hook up with one that was bout 8-9lbs. was hoping saturday was gonna be a repeat but know how it goes sometimes still excited to where we were starting nonetheless caught around 5-6 with and one solid 21" 4.75 on drop shot in about 2' at 130.

left there checked out few more spots nothing special. Fri morning watched a guy wackem' at mouth of bell not sure why he wanted to beat up his spot if he was fishing there sat but oh well. so got so spot there sat morning and of course not a whole lot of action so after sun came up moved out little deeper with and only managed about 5 for the day nothing but 13-14.5". went to another point moved to another snag and tied up boat pulls in to spot we left and bam caught 1 and lost good under looked like.

Sunday decided to go back to saturdays spot and bam on like donkey kong caught 5 in 6 cast lost cpl more but just 14-15" caught around 10-12 there and 3 more in the grass after lunch again 13-14" fun day no check and no issues with other fisherman.

just glad it was a safe weekend for all with that many boats on the water. looking forward to next year.
