Anyone using one? I did a considerable amount of timer reading reviews and looking at ice retention and decided on the Orca 58. Orca slammed Yeti hands down in an ice retention test that resulted in the Orca holding ice for 7 days compared to the Yeti and it's 5 day ice retention. The Orca 58 is the same capacity as the Yeti 65 which holds 57 quarts for $100 less. Yeti model numbers are just that, model numbers, not the actual capacity of the cooler.
I ordered the Orc 58 direct from the factory for less than I found them at any local or on-line retailer I found, plus no sales tax and free shipping makes it a pretty good buy. Lifetime warranty also makes it a good value, not to mention they are made in America.
I also considered a Rtic, as they have decent reviews, but the ship date for one is back to August 10. I guess they have all the business they need. I also watched a couple of You Tube videos that showed where the lids on the Rtic warped after extensive exposure to the sun resulting in a loss of sealing around the lid.

Bummer you ordered one already. There is a new company, Maluna, that is showing very promising results in tests against yeti

Yeti is probably a good cooler, but people are paying big bucks for a status symbol. What disappoints me more than anything about Yeti, except their prices, is that they don't attempt to disclose the actual capacity of any of their coolers. It's on the Internet to be read, but they don't make it a point to disclose it on their website. To me that borders on dishonest marketing.

I have a Yeti one of my vendors gave me. It is a good cooler and all, but my Coleman Xtreme will hold ice about as good. Definitely long enough for a couple of days of fishing. It is not built nearly as good as a rotomold, but for general use it is great. I wouldn't mind having a 100 Qt rotomold to keep on my boat, I may shop around some for one.

Another note on the RTIC they just completely redesigned their cooler. That is probably why their ship date is delayed again
