Buddy and I decided to try some night fishing on it last night as we were bored. Around 11 a boat comes running south circling out towards the dam and turned towards it running. We both said I think he is bout to hit the dam and sure enough he ramps up it. So we haul it down there to help them out. Somehow he missed the big overflow pipe by foot he said, and the concrete wall just to the west of it. Said he was looking at phone app trying figure out where he was. Last minute his son yelled at him and threw in entirely and braced for impact. Said he been on lake several times but the dark and judging distance got him. Luckily we was able to push the boat back into the water. Good thing they was in one those Lowe metal boats! Please be aware at night while running.

Glad no one was injured. Night running is a bad deal; it only takes one mistake. Thanks for sharing.

Perky has more stumps per acre just underneath the surface than any other lake I've fished.
There are large sections of that lake I'd never fish at night.

Glad they weren't hurt but come on, you know your lost and you just keep on running. Atleast they learned the lesson without injury.
