Fished 2 small N Dallas creeks in the afternoon with Arthur. Both were in good shape from the rain and not much staining. It started slow, but picked up as the day went on. Caught a bunch of Longears, 5 Greens, 3 BG's and a LM. Was able to do a lot of sight fishing which I like. Nothing huge, but some respectable fish in small water. Still searching for a Warmouth this year, they use to be pretty easy to find hmmm

Two of my holes got blown up because a frisbee landed in them by "recreational athletes" who would then go in the creek to get it mad. Insult to injury if you ask me. Can't say "it felt great to be away from it all" because people were everywhere but it was nice to be fishing.

Jogger thought I was crazy to fish there

Nice post. Are you using a 3wt? I am on my second year of fly fishing and love it. I have a creek close by and the fish stay active just about year around. Great place to practice my fly fishing skills.

Great post and fish. I still haven't caught any warmouth this year either. I went looking for them a couple times with no luck.

Thanks Chuck, Curtis, Will and Jamie. Arthur is great fishing and he's only 8 months.

Curtis- 3wt is perfect for creeks. I was using a 4wt

Lets go on a Warmouth mission Jamie.

Chuck- Can't wait to fish down there again.

Thanks. Just about anything you catch on a 3wt is a puller!
