If you want a chance at a giant and are willing to get skunked for that chance, go to Henry.

If you want a chance to catch multiple 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 lb.fish with almost no.hope for a giant, go to Thomas.

Friend going to JB Thomas crappie fishing this afternoon. Does anyone know if you can buy minnows at the lake and where to catch some crappie?

There is a store out by the lake where you can buy a permit. I saw some minnow vats out back a few weeks ago. I assume they have minnows. Not sure where to catch crappie.

This is good advice. I've waited a while (since the lake filled) to fish JB Thomas. I've fished it twice since, in April and in May, and caught several 3-4 pounders. It is a great place to get away from people, too.

Very muddy

Might have been a good place to get away from people until this post. With such limited places to fish in this region why would you want everyone fishing it? I just don't understand.
