i'm an amateur angler from the DFW area, but i recently moved to Lubbock for school, i'm looking for someone to go bank fishing with or hit Lake Allen Henry or buffalo springs, i don't have a boat but will split costs.

I haven't lived in Lubbock in 15 years, but there use to be a fishing barge on Lake Allen and the city keeps the playa lakes around town stocked pretty good when I was living there.

I recently started going bank fishing at white river. Havent really found the sweet spots yet but that wont stop me. White river is about an hr east of lubbock. Its alot better lake for bank fishing for catfish than alan henry is. Buffalo springs lake really isnt any good for fishing in my opinion unless it has chaned alot since i moved away. I live in odessa now but have to drive at least 2 hrs in any direction (except west) to get to a lake. Are you bankfishing for catfish or bass?
