It's alright man. I think it brought up a good topic about thumb-spooling.
Honestly, didn't realize I was doing it. Kayak is way different than a boat or even the bank.

I was going this on Cedar Creek one night. Something giant...huge catfish, giant gar...took off with my worm and was stripping off my braided line. I put my thumb on the spool and peeled some of the hide off it before I could let go.
