Was there a fire there? Was it the actual rooms or an RV? Sad either way and hope everyone is OK.

I watched it from my deck in Little Mustang! It was a large 5th wheel with attached covered deck! It was a total loss but nobody was hurt!

I am at Fishermans RV Camp across Mustang from Popes - it sounded like a boat popping across the lake at first - you know the pops of a boat on light chop at 70...then we saw some smoke so I went outside...about that time we heard a pretty big explosion and the smoke came a billowing. We could see the top of the flames over the trees and a ton of black smoke which led me to believe it was a fiberglass RV - then a few small explosions.

We timed the response...first emergency responder came in the form of a police officer and then a fire truck....took about 14 minutes from the time we heard the skitter popping.

Glad no one was hurt...that was one hot mother to be popping like that!

My parents have a place there. Supposedly this trailer was stuck by lightning a few weeks ago. They had to have some work on the trailer I believe prior to the fire. When the propane tank exploded my mom said she could feel the explosion from her dock. Sad deal, but nobody was hurt and they have insurance. Here a couple pics.

that is kinda what I thought it would look like...we definitely heard the propane tank go! Saw the flash first and then 3 seconds later the kaboom! Kinda like watching fireworks from our park when they are going off at Popes!

Not much to haul off thats for sure!
