Howdy. Just joined this forum, but am on several others. Are there any members, in this forum, from the Pasadena/Houston area that kayak fish? I live in Pasadena, married, retired, age 71, and bought an Ocean Motorized fishing Kayak two years ago. It's 13-9, has a built in MinnKota saltwater troll motor. I haul it on a Harbor Freight boat trailer I converted to fit my yak. I had two fishing buddies I used to go with but last year one had a stroke, the other went back to work. I don't go by myself, and I don't like fishing weekends. Sorry 'bout that but there's too many weekend warrior wierdo's out there that will run over a kayak. This is my rig. If anyone is interested, email or PM me. Nice to be on a Texas fishing forum. [img] https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/usergals/2017/05/full-105887-162483-kayak_02.jpg[/imp

I don't own a kayak. Just wondering if there are some state parks in your area that allow big boats to idle only or exclude them altogether? That would solve the idiots in the big boats problem.
