Wednesday was our first day with non conflicting work days so I got the chance to take Mom fishing. We fished down a trail from the Lake Somerville spillway and had a fun time together. We caught lots of fish today. We caught a 12" and 13" white bass which was my first ever and her first in nearly 40 years. Foul hooked a carp or buffalo that broke the line trying to drag it up tail first  . The fish wanted the lures (black roadrunner jigs) retrieved slow and right along the bottom. Fish fry happened Thursday and now were ready to catch'em again. 
Always leave nature cleaner than you found it.

Nice fish.  Can't think of any better way to spend a Mothers Day!
