for whatever reason khaki creek always starts up so late but our run is finally in full swing after lots of Scouting. Seeing as Mateo and I are the sole scouts seeing is it so late everybody else has given up hope. The fish have finally arived we are doubling up regularly with some really nice magnums in the mix! We've had a couple of beautiful days on the water in the last few days.

Capt that was one of the fattest most iridescent Fish I have seen this late in the year they tend to be a little dull during the summer. But that Fish had a metallic color to it in the sunlight. And you have absolutely no idea on carp I need to take a picture for you there were probably 5000 carp in a mile stretch the other day. it was one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen! I'll have to take a picture and text it to you. I have honestly never seen that many carp in one place in my life. Could easily get 100 of them in one picture. We caught several but we were trying to dodge them it was hard to do though Haha.

With the weird year and down pours in some areas this spring creek has seen little flow. Most years we do have a decent sandbass run here but this year rain missed the small drainage till the last ten days. But..... Shad are coming in to spawn lol. And any fisherman with a brain knows if he knows where 10 zillion shad are at a given time he knows what is hot on their heels haha. I know some fish will just take in the eggs they do not lay but a friend kept a few the other day and several still have eggs so who knows. All I know Jaimie is that they are thick as molasses haha😎

Man, catching white bass and carp by the zillions in the creeks in June. That's awesome Robert. When we get a rain down here the creeks turn to mud for 10 days; y'all get a run of white bass. Just ain't right how spoiled you are

With the rain we got this morning should give us at least a few more days of fish!
