Wanting to get out to a spillway and catch some hybrids or sand bass, are there any that have been producing well

Your best bet is to go and check them out. By the time good reports start showing up here, word is out and the fishing will be slower and the spillways will be too crowded to enjoy. I don't think they have been releasing long enough to offer much good fishing. JMO
