I know this has kind of been talked about but...

How many of you actually use an ipad or something similar as GPS navigation? I've got a new (to me) boat and I am trying to figure out what I will like best as far as graphs go.

Right now I'm thinking about using my ipad for navigation and buying a couple of Helix 7s without GPS and linking them together. I rarely use waypoints on my actual graphs anyway.I have a couple of extra RAM mounts that I was going to use. Of course budget is a big issue for me so I'm trying to do this as cheaply and efficiently as I can.
