With all the rain and high water the fishing on Palestine has been pretty tough for me. Had trips Monday and today. We caught fish on almost every stop, just not many of them. Lots of small fish too.
Mike and Cameron came on Monday and had a great time. We had to dodge a couple of rain storms, but they will definitely be back. Cameron beat dad out for big fish and most fish!

John and Bobby hit the lake this morning and boy was it beautiful. John is a Lutheran pastor from California. We had some great fellowship, and the fish bit a little better as well. John caught this hog on pepops grapefruit limeaid!

We fished until noon and then called it a day.

I'll be glad when the lake settles down again and the fish get to biting better. Really enjoyed the trips guys!

Hopefully it settles out by Sunday. I'll be there Sunday-Friday. Hope the fishing is good!

same pattern here in the centex, your lake might be starting turnover capt.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !
