I used to fish it a lot in the late 80's thru the early 90's... It's only about 275 acres, so it doesn't take many boats to run out of quality fishing spots on that lake..

How about Purtis Creek? Anyone been there lately?

With all the good fisheries around ( Athens,Fork,CC,Palestine) why in the world would you waste your time there. Use to be a good lake.

in the 90's several sharelunkers came out of mill creek but were transported to lake fork marinas for weigh-in. before the grass was eradicated it was known as little fork.

now it is hit or miss.

Because many days little ol Mill Creek will outdo those lakes.

It's small and easy to locate fish
