Wanted to share with everyone an act of kindness greatly appreciated by this father. I went with my 4 year old daughter and my 3 year old sun out to Lake Lewisville yesterday for a boat ride. While idling across a point noticed allot of bate and fish so decided to try and let my daughter and son have some fun. Went to put trolling motor in the water when it became apparent that my cable had broken frown. after realizing that a drift would not allow us to catch them with the tackle we had I observed a boat waving me over. This is when I met Steve Schiele with Steve's Professional Guide Service. He not only gave me the tackle to catch the fish but insisted that I tie off to him. This allowed my kids to catch fish after fish after fish till their bedtime. They went to bed and woke up this morning talking about how much fun they had. Steve thank you for making a lifelong memory for me and my kids. When it came time for us to go I tried to slide him some money and he refused saying "that is what friends do" To the clients he had and to Steve, I can not tell you what you did for this single father nor can i verbalize how much you blessed us! I do not know much about guides in the area but I know something about character and supporting "good people" in their line of work. This man has it and deserves anyone's consideration because you know you will be supporting a gentleman who is out there working for the right reasons, someone who is kind, considerate, and is in the business of blessing others with lifelong memories.

Thanks Again

Great Story. I'm ready to go book a trip with him, and I don't book guides. That is what is special about fishing

Great pictures and story. I know what guide I will call if I ever get the chance to fish Lake Lewisville.

Class act for sure.

My sons and I were WB fishing one day, doing oK then headed back in to try one more spot, it was on, one after another all 2+ lbs til our arms got tired. I waved in two other boats and told them to tie off and I counted 9 simultaneous hookups ( 3 in each boat) like 5-6x. Kids in each boat, had trip of their lifetimes. We stopped counting at 156 and my sons still talk about it!! Wore the paint off 5-6 traps ( silver black back and silver blue back) all released.

The fishing world is blessed to have some one like him.
And the memories your children will have is priceless.

That is awesome. Nothing better than getting to see kids have the time of their lives catching a bunch of fish.
