I really like the Suffix 832 Performance braid, but have been playing around with the Seguar Smackdown Tournament Braid. It definitely casts better, but it's a thinner diameter and seems to throw knots around the tip or guides in heavy wind.

I've been using the relatively new braid from P-line. Casts great and really smooth through the guides. No issues with knots. It's called TFC (Teflon Coated Braid). Best I've used. Worth checking it out.

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

I still use my Lynch line and it is definately (sp) the smoothest, course, since the stopped making it, it is hard to comeby anymore. It is the greatest braid that I am aware of, except when the wind blows. It catches the wind very easily. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
