I am in the midst of replacing my bilge pump and the automatic switch. I currently have a Johnson 750GPH with a Johnson float switch.

I have 3/4" lines so I plan on replacing with a 1000GPH pump.

Any suggestions on brands of pumps and/or switches?

Tsunami. Check out the new switch that's electronic instead of the old style float switch (which can get stuck with debris underneath float) its a sensor switch. About the same cost.

That Attwood electronic switch does look great and has received a lot of good reviews. Just ordered it along with the Tsunami pump. Thanks for the info.

I have one in mine as a backup & also a manually switched bilge pump. I couldnt think of the term for it but its a electro magnetic sensor switch to determine water level. with no moving parts. Good choice you made.
