Will it be any good out there?
I need to go ketch something bad!

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

It's almost straight across from old Midway Camp about 3/4 across the lake.

I haven't fished the rock crusher this year. Keep forgetting about it.
Wind from the south tomorrow so north side of lake should be the best places.

If you see this boat, it'll be me.

I have not fished rock crusher either. Murrell east has been my hot spot lately.

I think I'll be out this evening to warm up for the Tawakoni tournament.
I think the girls want to go chase fish tonight anyway.

Sucked. Didn't find them and other places that I normally go to already had a boat or 2 or 3 sitting on it. There was a guide boat on the rock crusher this morning but they didn't stay long and when I eased by I didn't see any fish in the area on side scan. The few fish I marked were near Murrel and Twin Coves but they weren't hungry. Talked to one guy at ramp that said dinks were schooling yesterday at Murrel.
I didn't see anybody boat a fish this morning. More wind than predicted too.
Maybe next time.

I fished the Vine last night (Wednesday night). Was slaughtering them from 6:30-7:30pm jigging with slabs. Then they started surfacing like a mad house. Fantastic fishing. Had my wife and son with me and they switched over to Heddon Torpedo's and they were absolutely excited to catch them one after another. We ended up keeping only 18 fish for eating and released an abundance of them. I had to work early today and didn't want to be up all night last night filleting fish. Tough Life....LOL!!!!

I was out there this morning for the first time this year and caught nothing. I graphed fish at most of the normal places with no takers. There were Egrets working Shad in the cove two up from the island but I didn't have any luck around them either. The guide was Luck of the Irish and I don't know how they did. I never saw anyone catch anything. They must be feeding in the evenings right now.

They shut down when they opened up the flow. Same with the Catfish.

Sounds like nothing much has changed. Fishing has pretty much always been about being at the right place at the right time with the right bait.

Only caught a dozen yesterday. Took 2 hours to do that.
Slow slow. Never saw any schooling action either.
