Fished with my buddy who I grew up with, Mr. Outlaw.

Weather was sketchy and had the fish acting goofy, most fish were caught in the bottom lip with the hook going out under the chin, they were chasing it down on the fall, then grabbing it.

Who said crappie only feed up? I call BS.

The others were caught on the rise, took awhile to figure out how to get one caught, anyways we managed 38 keepers with 3 over 2 pounds, before the lighting ran us off the lake.

Had a blast Joe.

Fresh garden veggies and crappie tacos for dinner.

From this.

To this.

Grin.

You got no shame!!!.... and them 2 lbers need bigger tortillas to make a man sized taco....goodstuff

The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

No sir, none at all.

I had to cut them big ones 4 times each side just to get um to fit on a tortilla.

For a minute I thought you took your whale catching outlaw friend. That meal looks healthier than mine did. Good job. Wind must have blown that fish to the side.

Rookie mistake by the photographer.

Been picking a few every day Slewfoot, the okra doesn't last 1 night and it's on the grill. Good food this time of the year.
