I'll be staying on the llano river off of 2389 south of mason in the next few weeks. Anybody have any general tips or paddled east or west of this junction on the river? Taking the kayaks and plan to do lots of paddling, fishing and swimming. Any tips/advice is greatly appreciated!

I fished the Llano near Kingsland a couple times over the last three years for spawning white bass. Water is incredibly clear, so use light line and smaller lures in realistic colors.

I grew up fishing the llano and other clear water creeks in Burnet/llano Cnty . Light line and natural colors. Pumpkin senkos work well. Clear tiny torpedos are awesome.
