Lewisville (about the only place I fish anymore)

Drop a jig about anyplace, literally, brushpile, rocks, concrete, timber, and you will get bit over and over. Yesterday in 3 hours boated 124. Only problem, only 8 keepers. We release most fish anyway so who cares. Action is fun. There are plenty of bigger fish out there but didn't want to leave biting fish to find them.

But what a beautiful day to fish. Dead calm, cool and fish biting everywhere we stopped.

Put the front top on the boat so we can fish in the shade now. Will go again tomorrow.

Very nice! I had 15 keepers out there on Tuesday in the tube. Sure was nice to get on some Lewisville fish again. Didn't get a lot of bites but the ones I did were 13-15 inch fish. Glad you are on them as well Ernest!

That was my experience the day before on Lewisville also. We fished the dam areas and caught lots of fish, but only about 12 keepers. Pace was so steady that I lost count after 50, mostly black crappie.

Used plastics - Slab Bandits in sour grape, and some of Tod's bigger baits; must admit that the larger fish were caught on the three inch baits that I recently got from Tbox! They were tearing up the baits! Was lots of fun. And the weather was perfect! Only problem was that there were also a lot of skiers running around causing the pontoon to rock!

Fork has been on fire this week also.

If they are biting your catching them that's for sure Ernest.

Today 124 Crappie plus 14 bass and sandbass.

Two of us in 3 hours. Nice string of keepers today.
