Went out the other night and found a bunch of big schools of sandies. If you have a fish finder they are not hard to find. Just north of the 820 bridge middle of the lake around 15 ft of water.

Yea kinda at an angle. Could still be considered north of the bridge, but if you want to get technical then west of it.

Went out yesterday and as soon as I got to my spot they were all popping shad on the top. I set anchor and caught 4 in about 10 casts then they shut off and I didn't catch another. It was weird

^^^ I dont think it would be an issue,
from TPWD: "the DSHS consumption advisory says persons should not consume blue catfish, channel catfish or smallmouth buffalo from these waters"

but you go first and report back in a couple months
