6-4-17 Rain did not slow us down, but the lightning did. Fishing the open Sabine Lake, birds working, wind blowing, and raining off and on. Live shrimp only caught Gaff Topps. Mirror Dine and soft plastics worked well on the Speckled Trout. Most of the Specks were undersized, but did manage a few keepers. Birds were working rather large shrimp. Had to leave birds working and fish jumping out of the water. Better to leave and come back another day. Water is still stained, but I have seen it worse. It really did not seem to bother the fish. luckylindycharter.com

Hey Lindy. Are the fishing biting in the ship channel and the jetties? Just asking. I can never get off this time of year but I love fishing Sabine!
