What do you guys use. I have a tfo 7'6 heavy. It was recommended by a salesman. I have used it and caught fish. But the tip seems way to stiff.

Falcon Cara T7 7' heavy and an H2O 7' heavy. If it's heavy cover like matted grass or timber I sometimes pull out a 7-6" H2O XH and braid.

I have a Dobyns 736 Champion for HEAVY cover and a 735 for regular cover, both Champions. Works well for me. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

7'6" is too much for me pitching. I use the Cara Amistad. It's 7'3" and very light.

G. Loomis GLX 894C JWR is what I use. Probably my favorite pitchin' rod. I use the 895 too but it's a little stiffer and I like a little bit of tip when I pitch a bait.

I just "retired" my Cara T7 Amistad and replaced it with a Academy Ethos 7'6" XH/Fast. IMO, it is better balanced, lighter, has a more comfortable handle (I have really large hands), and fishs really well. It is ugly though...I'm not a fan of blue paint and fake carbon fiber accents. It was also less than half the price.
A great rod for flipping and pitching and the micro guides seem to have no problem passing 20lb Fluorocarbon.
For $99, you should try one.

The problem I have with 7'6" is they all seem so unbalanced/tip heavy. My preference is for a 7'2 or 7'3
