The Ray Hubbard Bass Club will be holding our monthly meeting this Thursday night, June 8th starting at 7:00PM. We meet at Bass Pro Shops in Garland on the restaurant patio downstairs. We will be taking memberships. Membership costs $30.00 per year and includes your entire immediate family. Our Secretary Russell Olds will be the man to see. We'll get you to him if you aren't sure who he is. If you want to fish the Club Championship for 2017, you will need to join now and fish the rest of the season to get your five, so make plans to come see us!

Topics for discussion this month include the results from our May tournament on Lake Palestine. If you had a good day, come prepared to tell those of us that didn't how you caught em. We will discuss the tournament coming up next Saturday June 10th on Cedar Creek. We will be fishing from 6:00 - 2:00. Registration and weigh in will take place at Log Cabin. Full tournament info can be found here in the Bass Clubs section. We are sharing the ramp with Lake Tawakoni Bass Club so get there early!. We will also choose hours for our July tournament on Lake Lavon. It's getting hot out there so we will talk about both human and fish care. Let's make sure everyone either drives home or swims away!

We have lots of community event stuff to go over! We will get an update from our FFAC committee on sponsorship's and what is needed. We had two cancellations in June. The Kids Fishing Derby was postponed today by weather. Hopefully we will get a makeup date for that soon. The Boy Scouts event has also been cancelled. We may try and re-schedule for later in the year. So right now we focus on FFAC on October 21! Plan on being there as participants or assistants or sponsors!

So as you can see, we have lots to talk about. Come on out and join us! Bring your appetite. Wait staff will be there for your food and drink orders. Tip them well! Let me know if you need more info on anything!
