Does anyone have a pic of the Boerne lake levels and structures? Don't have a depth finder
on my yak and would kinda like to know the depth and other underwater structure if available.
I seem to remember someone posting it a while back but cant find it. Thanks

Navionics has some free basic contours of Boerne. You might try to pm Rionator.

Other than being close, it's a waste of time to fish. The map above is pretty close, about 80% accurate.

There's also just not many fish in the lake. Years ago, it was decent fishing. Now the few times I go, I hardly graph fish anywheres. There's some rockpiles out in the middle by the dam and there's hardly fish on them anymore. I'm not sure why the fish don't do good here, either low bait population (my suspicion) or lots of people keeping what they catch (possible and legal).

There's planted brush piles, rock piles, several points and just no decent fish.

Thanks for the info. Its close and want to try out a yak I got. I have fished it off the bank and usually
catch a few bass but never anything over a pound.

Ten4 on all that. And just to make SURE the bait fish population stays low some moron
stocked some white bass and hybrid stripers in that lake. W*T*F !!

I have to agree with y'all. Was a great bass lake over 10 years ago but gone downhill big time. The only baitfish I see around the lake are those glass minnows and those white bass tear them up. Seems like any bass caught out there anymore is less than 12".

Great lake to kayak. The last two times I fished Boerne Lake did not do well at all. Caught a couple of very small bass and that was it. Weather and water conditions were ideal. I also did not graph many fish.

Side Note: Very heavy fishing pressure on that lake as well.

Few months ago I fished the bank and saw the whites schooling towards the dam. Got a good look at them
had 1 on a spinner bait. Was surprised to see them in that lake

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the whites or hybrids (whatever they are). First time I caught them was about 18 years ago, deep in the channel while jigging a spoon. About freaked me out after catching one and then ended up with 5. I don't think they can spawn there, so I'm guessing someone threw them in there and they must keep doing it. I've never seen anything about the state stocking them there.

A few years ago the state stocked some adult fish, I have no clue what happened to them.
