Getting to go fishing with my big brother again. Lake Fork didn't turn out like we had hoped. This time we are going to Flag Lake which is a large lake (about 600 acres) on Barksdale Air Force Base. The deepest part of the lake is no more than 10 feet but most of the lake is between 5 and 6 feet.

I am having an issue with "fisherman's elbow" so I'm not going to be able to cast. We'll just be using a "cane" pole with a bobber. Caught some good bluegill and a couple of black crappie last time we went there. This is a picture of the lake ~~ lots of trees and lots of cover.

The picture on the original post (above) is what the lake looked like when we fished it back in April. My brother went out to the lake today and these pictures are what he saw. This the where we launched the boat before. At that time, there were people fishing off the dock.

The other side of the lake is no better, plus the launch on that side is super shallow and you cannot even launch a flat bottomed boat.

I told my brother there was "one hole" we could fish through in that third picture.
