Now that it has a stain on it, it's OK for some fish slime to hit it.

Lot's of fish have been caught,but try very hard to not have them hit the carpet.

Every now and then I will go to the car wash and use the wheel degreaser setting and spray on the carpet. Then use a medium bristle brush to scrub the carpet then rinse with water. You will be shocked how clean your carpet will get after this. I do not suggest you do this very often tho as I imagine it may shorten the life of the carpet.
