Out of the two, slip sinker. I do believe in the powers of a dropper rig but i had to start reconsidering since spmeone mentioned while bank fishing the bait still wallows on the bottom. I have had 50-50 success with the slip sinker and dropper rig (i been told its also called a Kentucky rig).
Just be careful of those darn turtles lol i forgot they were still roaming until i hooked into one in the jaw as my cut shad was falling.
Hi, I'm Faith and I'm addicted to fishing. Now if you don't mind, I'll be getting back to my fishing.

I use a simple Carolina rig unless structure dictates the need for a change. I always start simple and add only what is necessary, i.e. a balloon to make it a modified santee cooper rig.) I only do that if there is grass or soft mud that could hide the bait.
