I was there two weeks ago. Post-front conditions.....
Caught plenty of smaller fish (under 3 lbs) in and around the flooded shoreline grass in Birch creek. Caught 'em on a weightless fluke....Never had a big bite...

I would start in Williams Creek and go counter clockwise from there. Fish are staging in 2 to 50ft. of water and biting Carolina rigged spoons with a powder blue craw worm. Fish are biting best from 3-4 pm. Good luck and tight lines.

Just go fish the grass up and around the banks. Killed the on a frog, fishing it really slow and in the grass holes. Flip with a baby brush hog, especially if you find grass and brush. Good luck man. Lot of fish and some nice slot fish in there.

Fish for the whites on the humps/points main lake. Haven't found any LM out deep that will take anything yet. Everything seems to be buried in grass 2-4 FOW.

You been fishing deep from 4 PM and later? I caught some strolling in 24 feet Monday evening.

Thank so for the tip, no... I have been getting to the lake late morning, early afternoon and going straight to the deep spots. Abandoned them pretty soon and went back to my grass pattern. I'll try and get out there early or stay late this week. Next week, I'll probably start where I think I can get a decent early under or two, or camp for a big girl, fishing for one bite. I hate that kind of fishing, though! I'll take lower numbers, but fishing for one, I lose confidence too quickly!
