Fished from 7:30 to noon today. Calm to very light wind with 76 degree water.
We caught 52 crappie mostly hanging from 16 to 19 feet in 30 feet of water.
Sad part is that only 3 were keepers. Also had 1 bream, 3 channel cats, and 2 drum.
Every one we saw had very few keepers!

Need heat. Timber is where I would be looking for keepers.

We were right on top of a C of E brush pile. Caught my personal best there last October.
Just finished dinner! The keepers were very tasty, and fresh!

I had an old version of Navionics that had all USA lakes. You could zoom in and place markers on good honey holes and it showed all brush piles on Lake Ray Roberts. Now it appears that after the latest app update it is called Navionics + and after a free 15 day trial you have to pay. I'll wait to our next day on the lake to start my 15 day trial. I'll let you know if it's worth it.
